Brief: An interpretation of Norman Mailer’s The Fight

Description: The Fight is Mailer’s account of the Ali/ Foreman fight that took place in 1974 and is better known as the “Rumble in the Jungle”. The story is written from an introspective point of view; one that has Mailer examining not only his mental and emotional state but those of the fighters. While reading the story one line in particular stood out:

“Fighters live in a dimension of boredom that others cannot begin to contemplate.”

That line drove the concept, I wanted know what that dimension looked like? In addition to the stills we shot for the book, we made a short trailer which can be seen below.
